When did TPP Internet become part of the Netregistry Group Ltd?
In October 2009, TPP Internet was partially acquired by Netregistry Pty Ltd. By June 2010, TPP Internet became a fully owned subsidiary of Netregistry Group Pty Ltd.

What is happening with TPP Internet?
TPP Internet is made up of both a retail and reseller offering. As part of a consolidation project, TPP Internet retail customers will be consolidated into our premium retail brand, Netregistry. With this migration retail clients will get access to an exciting new range of products, support and services targeted specifically for the retail market.

When will I be migrated to Netregistry?
TPP Internet retail customers will be migrated to the Netregistry TheConsole CRM from 10am Thursday 16th August to 6am 17th August 2012 AEST (GMT +1000).
During this time, retail customers of TPP Internet will not be able to login to their domain administration panels. Hosting, Email and DNS on domains will remain running as is.
TPP Internets? reseller partners will remain in the TPP Internet system until the end of 2012.

Is there going to be Downtime for my sites or emails?
No, the migration is to transfer your customer information from TPP Internet Online Management System to the Netregistry TheConsole admin panel. You simply will not be able to login to manage your domains throughout the period of the migration.

How do I login to my account now?
After the migration, TPP Internet retail clients will be able to login here?https://theconsole.netregistry.com.au/?using your current username (Account Reference) and password. Note: email usernames are no longer supported. If you are unsure of your Account Reference login username, please retrieve your login details at Forgotten Account Login page.

What level of customer service and support can I expect from Netregistry?
We are an Australian-based company with support staff here to help 24 x 7 with any support issues or questions that you may have. The level of service that you have been receiving will not change; if anything, the team we have here has now increased and the migration of your CRM software (customer relationship management software) will ensure speedier assistance by our Retail support team, who are very familiar and fluent with the interface you are about to start using.
Rest assured your level of service and support will not change. Netregistry?s customer service team share the same office and have been providing some support to TPP Internet retail clients since you became part of the Netregistry Group.
All customer communication and service notifications after migration will be sent from Netregistry. However you may notice references to ?Legacy TPP Internet Customers? on the Netregistry website, especially within the Support Centre, to assist with this transition.

Are the prices for my EXISTING services increasing as a result of this change?
No, there will be no changes to existing pricing for your services, however please take note of the changes associated with renewal of your service in What happens when my services are due to be renewed?

What about NEW products and services?
After migration on w/c 13th August, all NEW products available for purchase will be outlined on the?Netregistry website. Netregistry offers a complete suite of products and services helping to grow your business online. These include cPanel and Cloud Web Hosting, Web Design, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay-per-click Advertising, Email Marketing and VPS Cloud Hosting services.

What happens when my services are due to be renewed?
Existing monthly hosting services will continue to renew monthly on the nominated credit card. Please note a change for Yearly hosting accounts, these accounts will now become subscription services which automatically renew on the date of expiry.
Historically, customers of TPP Internet could allow their services to lapse by simply not renewing their service at the end of the year, this will no longer be the case.?After the migration, customers of TPP Internet will be required to explicitly cancel their service by submitting an online form.
We will send you a number of email reminders to advise you of upcoming automatic renewal ? this will prompt you to?submit a cancellation?for any services you do not wish to continue.

Have the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy changed?
As you will be migrated to the Netregistry brand, the?Terms and Conditions?and?Privacy Policy?of Netregistry will apply to your services. We recommend you review the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The central difference between your current Terms and Conditions and Netregistry?s is the automatic renewal of subscription services.

When did this change take place, I?ve never been notified about this?
All TPP Internet customers were sent an email on Tuesday 31st July 2012 to notify them of the merger of TPP Internet retail client into Netregistry and subsequent closure of the TPP Internet retail brand.?If you never received this email, perhaps your email address is incorrect. Please be sure to update your Account contact details to ensure that you don?t miss out on important communication such as notifications and renewal notices.

DOMAIN NAMES AND DNS MANAGEMENT QUESTIONS
Will my name server/DNS change?
No. Your original DNS settings will continue to operate as normal. All new subscriptions will be configured with Netregistry DNS server names upon setup. This will be done automatically on behalf of clients.

Are there any changes to how I manage my domains?
Yes. Being a new interface there will be a variety of changes for account and service management. Closer to the migration date we will be providing detailed information on the differences between the old and the new Account administration interfaces.

Are there changes to domain prices and what price will I renew at?
New domain registrations will be available at Netregistry retail pricing. You can view the current Netregistry?domain price list here.
The existing domain registrations will automatically be set to renew at the original TPP Internet domain pricing.

Will my domain Registrar change to Netregistry?
Currently registered domain names with TPP Internet will remain as registered under TPP Internet Pty Ltd. However, all new domain names will be registered under Netregistry Pty Ltd as the Registrar of Record. It is not necessary to consolidate existing domains under Netregistry however it is possible on customer request.

WEB HOSTING QUESTIONS
How will being part of Netregistry affect the hosting of my website?
All existing TPP Internet shared hosting customers will remain on their current hosting platform. Customers with these existing services will be able to upgrade and downgrade between hosting packages, but no new hosting accounts will be provisioned on cloud.
When you purchase a NEW Cloud or cPanel hosting account, this will be provisioned within Netregistry?s robust and reliable infrastructure. You can purchase a new hosting plan, via?netregistry.com.au?or your account in the new administration panel called The Console.

Do the inclusions in my web hosting package change?
No. All current agreements, pricing and product specifications will be honoured until the service is cancelled.
